MVLLIKA. (aka Mallika Khan) is a queer Pakistani expressive artist and poet based in Bristol, UK.

They believe that where sorrow lies, resilience is there too. Their work reflects this, focusing on empowering underrepresented individuals (particularly LGBTQ+ BIPOC) recovering from trauma.

MVLLIKA. creates art that is primarily based in expressive realism. However, they often stray from this to incorporate mixed media using different materials, art styles, and even including poetry to express their vision.

 

MVLLIKA. has been recognized by various poetry publications such as Arachne Press, Auxocardia, Brain Mills Press, Bristol Women’s Voice, BreakBread Magazine, Brownie’s Zine, and The Survivor Zine UK.
